2025 Vatican Jubilee of Sport
Sport for Humanity Foundation is making plans to host a private side-event in Rome, adjacent to The Vatican Jubilee of Sport celebration in June of 2025.
Jubilee of Sport
Pope Francis will open the Holy Door of St. Peter’s Basilica on December 24, 2024, to indicate the beginning of the Holy Year. This door will remain open throughout the Jubilee Year, allowing pilgrims to enter, and to experience a deeper meaning, namely the encounter with Christ, the “door” who unites us with the Father. Various experiences and indulgences throughout the year are planned by The Dicastery for Evangelization, including the Jubilee of Sport on June 14-15, 2025.
SSH Event and Roundtable Workshop
Sport for Humanity, in collaboration with the Vatican Dicastery for Culture and Education, will be hosting a select group of guests, by invitation only, to take part in a special SSH Jubilee of Sport experience that will consist of a strategic roundtable workshop discussion about the vision, mission, strategic direction and future programming of this important work at the intersection of sport and faith.
This program is partly a pilgrimage to the Jubilee of Sport, partly fun and games in Italy, partly serious strategic planning work, and primarily a critical fundraiser for the SSH Foundation.
